The Puzzle is Complete!
In a few days we will have a complete list
available of those who donated to the Puzzle
Piece Campaign and made the successes of
2009 possible. It's going to be a lot of fun to see
the final names, each with their own piece of the
puzzle, in the PupStart Center in the future!

| New Construction! Plans are underway for the next construction step at the DFA facility near Easley! In hopes of providing more flexible training space for service dogs, and also an increased number of services to clients and the community, DFA is currently seeking funding for an open-air training pavilion which will be built adjacent to the PupStart Center. If you would like to make a donation towards this project, please use the donate button below this paragraph. New Staff!
We are happy to welcome Kelly Platt, of Lyman, SC,
to the DFA team! As of January 1st, Kelly assumed
the role of DFA Program Manager. As the services
provided by DFA expand both in scope and in
number, organization and oversight are becoming
ever more complex and important. Kelly's
background with dogs goes all the way back to
high school when she began training guide dogs
for a nationally-known program. In the years since
then, her extensive experience in retail
management, new store openings, staff training,
and database implementation make her a perfect
fit for DFA's current needs. We're all greatly looking
forward to the streamlining and increased
efficiency made possible by this new staff position.
